Lebron even last year they wanted to give it to him before the season started. Now that he has a good team n they are winning they will give it to him for sure. Unless he gets hurt.

If Lebron can keep up the pace, it's his to lose - the media pull in LA and the chance to create a new 'greatest player late into his career' narrative will be too much to resist for the sports media. That being said, I'm highly doubtful he can keep up that type of workload AND stay healthy long enough to make it. Even if he handily keeping the Lakers relevant late into the season, at some point the Lakers will have to consider sitting him for large parts of the back half of the season just to keep him fresh for the playoffs....on the other hand, this IS a team who delayed the whole future of the franchise just to do a Kobe victory lap so maybe they will ride Lebron as much as they can all 82 games. It wouldn't be the first time LA opted for short term wins over big picture goals.

Barring injury, Giannis or Lebron are locks to win it. After last year, it’s pretty obvious Harden will never win again.

100% agree. We all know about the Harden snubs because this is a Rockets board but LBJ should have 5-7 MVP awards to be honest.

Voted LeBron because it's been a while for him so media will want to throw him one. I also think AD will get injured at some point this year and voters will point to that span when "LeBron carried his team" and magnify that.

Harden got no such credit when CP3/Capela/EGo went down last year and went into Hargod mode.
