Some guys that I would love for us to take are Mitch McGary and Cleanthony Early! I just think that Cleanthony at the 2 guard or the SF position would work out for us very well. I don't think he is a Marcus Morris type of player. I don't think he plays the PF position at all, I think he is a SG/SF...I know I shouldn't mention Early and McGrady in the same sentence but McGrady played both of those positions at 6'7", so I don't see why Early couldn't.

Payne out of Michigan State seems so ideal. He's a floor-spacing, shot-creating, shot-blocking, and above-average defending PF. You couldn't ask for a better fit next to Dwight. Bring TJones off the bench as a good creator. DMo slides over to being our backup C with Asik traded.

Reports I keep getting are Vonleigh doesn't have much matter between his ears. IF that is actually the case...THEN he will be exactly like Stromile.

And is showing up to workouts extremely out of shape & frustrating coaches. He's one name I expect to see drop pretty far.... maybe even late lottery.

On a separate note, I wonder what the odds are Morey can trade up for a player much like the Spurs did with Kawhi? IMO the player that really stands out to me is Tyler Ennis. Some mocks have him late teens. I think he's a guy that comes in and in year 1 already supplants Bev/Lin/Canaan right in training camp to really upgrade that spot long-term.

I don't think you would draft Young to start next to D12. I think if you draft him, you do it to use him like Chicago used Asik or like the Rockets used Asik this season. If Young would be a good defensive option off of the bench then he is easily worth a late 1st or early 2nd for the Rockets. Rotational pieces are valuable.

I hope Morey moves up a bit to draft Elfred Payton (he may be a lottery pick, perhaps mid first rounder) . With Lin likely gone, this team needs an actual PG. Bev should go back to being the backup.

From that video :0 I like looking at high ppg college players that get thrown under radar from being at ****ty schools. That being said, I leave the scouting to Morey and his goons :3

I also think he is the best fit of any player not going in the top 10 pick range.I really think he would be a player that would compliment Howard....I think most execs would choose upside/talent over what fits a team but he would definitely be the exception.

Serious question: did you even watch him play? I'm absolutely bewildered why he's been ranked so high on mock drafts.
