    Yes, I forgot those

Also maybe Caron Butler, maybe Ray Allen will play to his potential. Also maybe Kwame and Tyson Chandler.

For those curious about Skita, here's the Nugs first impression of him this season from our annual "Blue - Gold" scrimmage.

Also, since he was mentioned here earlier, here's some info about Nene (nothing surprising):

Up next, the reason everyone is watching the Nugs this season:

Finally, the reason we're gonna surprise people this season more than a few times:

A player who nobody has thought of but who surprise A LOT of people is Hawks Boris Diaw!
Last year he was French league's MVP and won the title with Pau-Orthez(the team, not the player).
He's a does it all player(excels on D) and at 6'8 has enough ball handling to play PG! The only problem with him is that he's to team oriented,he'll rather make a pass than take a shot...but with the 19pts he scored against Maimi, that might have changed...
Mark my words this guy will be a star!

On the Rockets- I can't go past Yao.

As long as he stays healthy and consistent he'll average 20-10-3 at 50% clip and maybe become an MVP candidate if Rox reach 50 wins and the play-offs.

Around the West- Duncan is good but if Shaq comes back slimmer and fitter, forget it and just give him the MVP award. Seriously, if Shaq took basketball as competitively as Jordan or Hakeem did, he'd be so much better.

All this other distractions with movies, tv, rapping should be put on the backburner and concentrate on being "first among equals."

Around the East- Lamar Odom. Remember Austin was mediocre until he got coached by Riley, I reckon the same thing will happen with Odom.

He's got the size and the talent, he just needs to go out and play with passion and consistency. Who better to motivate him than Riley?
