they have probably the worst defensive backcourt in the league now with dlo and steph. and no nba level wings. draymond covers for a lot of mistakes but that's still going to be a bottom 10 def.
True - HOWEVER they just need to hang around and win a few more than they lose until Klay gets back. By then they have stat padded DLo and WCS and can try and move them to become a contender again.
I don't think we would've gotten a lot of credit if we signed WCS, but because it's GS everyone is going to lose their minds? Honestly, I'd rather have McGee.
Unless my math is wrong, 6 months is December. Per what you posted he could technically be back in November.
"there is no timetable" must have not posted on your screen. are you not familiar with acl timetables. its the latter more times than the former and considering what GS just went through with both kd/klay they're certainly not going to rush their guys back especially their fresh new max player they just resigned off a torn acl
By beating Knicks and Lakers, GS led the nba in $400 million revenues last year. Now they have new Chase Center. They spend very little money.
Wrong. I would be very happy to have WCS as a backup center. He is long and athletic and that is something we definitely need more of. But, of course, we can’t even get him. Our front office continues to fail time and time again. The warriors when healthy are going to be one of the top teams. They keep reinventing the team. We just keep getting worse. If we couldn’t beat them last year, it’s not happening this year.
GS are on process of rebuilding, very young team. Can they win 48 games? I don't think so. only 3 old players: Curry, Thompson and Green. Both Russell and Looney 23 years old.
29 other GMs in the league wished they had an MVP (and a bunch of other scrubs) begging to join their 72 win team. Not even Isiah Thomas or Kevin McHale could have botched that situation. (Well....) Fans comparing every single micro-move to Golden State are irrational. There are 29 other teams in the league that also aren't doing those things; player preferences (and, ahem, players being gutless) is a huge factor in how free agency plays out. I'm just glad it didn't work out for Boogie Cousins. It probably won't work out for the ring chasers anymore. Soon, they'll shift to Brooklyn or LA when the power shifts.
I mean they could land someone like Marcus Morris for cheap, not exactly Mook who wants to get paid though. Just sayin'.
I guess they promise to give Stein 32 minutes playing time and starting Center. Stein is a better player than Boogie Cousins. Boogie's leg is almost dead.
