With Mo Malone as 6th man (or PF, why not Dream can shoot fade aways and Mo can clean the glass) man and Granville Waiters for good luck...
Ah, nice: a non-Larry Brown thread. Here are my Rockets, based on what they accomplished while in Houston: C-Hakeem Olajuwon F-Moses Malone F-Clyde Drexler G-Calvin Murphy G-Steve Francis Res-Elvin Hayes, Rudy Tomjanovich, Mario Elie, Sam Cassell.
All Rockets First Team: C-Yao Ming PF-Hakeem Olajuwon SF-Rudy Tomjanovich SG-Clyde Drexler PG-Steve Francis All Rockets Second Team: C-Moses Malone PF-Ralph Sampson SF-Elvin Hayes SG-Vernon Maxwell PG-Calvin Murphy
Moses Malone is nobody's 6th man, he's a legit Hall of Famer. Dream-Malone-Rudy-Drexler-Murphy I'd almost go with Newlin over Drexler because Clyde was only here for a short time, but he was better in the Championship season (despite only being here half the season) than Newlin was in any one season. j
First and Second Combined: C: Olajuwon, Malone F: Hayes, Barkley, Tomjanovich, Reid G: Drexler, Murphy, Francis, Lucas
C- Hakeem Olajuwon PF- Moses Malone SF- Elvin Hayes SG- Clyde Drexler PG- Calvin Murphy Note that no current Rockets make the first team.
With all due respect, Lucas? He only played 2 full seasons with the Rockets. And they weren't even his best 2 seasons. j
