I know Tmac was slowed by the back injury (at least mentally) last season but there was a game in Minnesota where KG shut down Yao and Tmac at the same time. I have never seen anything like that in my life. Not even from Hakeem (although Dream's job was to protect the rim). I think KG's defense is so underrated. Look at Boston. They are suddenly a very good defensive team and it sure as hell isn't because of Ray Allen.
why certainly, I speak in behalf of ALL once heartbroken fans (literally all, in that I simply only repeated the same stuff everyone else said, like Drexler does except I threw in a couple more names) With Fisher its that "Battier-like" Rocket killing. All the pesky stuff besides points like snatching loose balls giving Killer Kobe 2nd chance opportunities, grabbing the ball while its in people's hands getting jump balls, drawing charges getting Francis all frustrated, draining threes when you needed him to miss. The timing of his plays mostly...And you said it - He did a good job on Tracy last year. Really thats NOT supposed to happen, just isnt. Especially after Tracy declared "Its ON ME" to the entire world you'd figure some stumpy 6-2 guy wouldnt stand in his path.
Funny how most of the Rocket Killers are Point Guards or Power Forwards. Some things never change.. As for my own person list: -Van Exel -Mahmud Abdul Rauf -Jason Terry
That fat bald rookie ref who did todays Memphis Game. He absolutely killed us. Chuck, Yao, and Scola in particular. I hate that little fat bald man.
no one jammed the rockets like the sonics playoff teams of the 90s. rockets always got broke off by those squads
The rocket killer that comes to mind is the Utah's point guard raping the rockets from behind all game long!
Aside from last game I don't remember Terry doing particularly well against us. Quite the opposite, Terry had 0 points in one game last season and some average games.
