He was also the main reason the 94 Finals went to game 7. Harper was absolutely raping Kenny Smith. Harper, not Ewing, was the MVP for Knicks that final series.
Right now? Terry and Boozer. Boozer because he's the new Karl Malone to us. Same team, same position and same results. A guy that absolutely KILLS us everytime. Terry because he plays like an All-Star against us. Granted, the guy wont even fathom the idea of driving or taking a shot inside 10 feet of the basket but his hot shooting seems to be the difference everytime we play Dallas. Whether its the regular season or the playoffs, I usually find myself screaming at the TV and slamming things because of this guy.
Whoever said Rasual Butler is right on target- and Ricky Pierce, as well. Carlos Boozer is a league killer. Terry is a Rocket killer. If Iverson goes off for 40 against us, well, he does that to everyone. So I always look at the Rocket killers as individuals who do inordinately well against us. Rasual Butler That dude from the GS Warriors with the European name who used to hit 3 pointers against us. Raef LaFrenz Stromile Swift (well, occasionally, anyway) Just a few.
Cabarkapa? or something like that. Haha I remember one game where he hit like 7 3 pointers against us
Kobe Bryant. I still can't believe that shot he hit to tie the game after Kwame missed a free throw. I know he scorches everyone, but when he scorches us, it always seems to always keep the Lakers in the game (or bring them back)
Current: 1. Jason Terry 2. Chris Paul 3. Deron Williams Classic: 1. John Stockton 2. Ricky Pierce 3. Kermit Washington Stromile Swift, by definition, will no longer be a Rocket killer as long as he stays out of a Rocket uniform.
It was always one of those Sonics. Every time we tried something different another one would torch us. Sometimes Perkins, then Ellis, then McMillan, then Schrempf. I couldnt stand watching us play them. They always had our number as a team. It was really disgusting.
Michael Finley (sometimes) Larry Bird Dennis Johnson Jeff Hornacek Shandon Anderson Deron Williams (probably will be one in few years)
My top 3: 1. Chris Paul 2. Jason Terry 3. The Jazz ability to execute. They keep it going throughout whole games and never collapse. They just keep it going, going, going. But, no, no SINGLE player on that team is a killer -- it's the coach.
