CP3 - Easily the least accomplished major star in the league
Klay - I'd take Green over him in a heartbeat
Melo - I respect him but he plays like an old, fat Allen Iverson

    Say it again

When has Harden not taken HIS team to the playoffs in a western conference that has always been stacked?
Matter of fact when has he not won since coming into the league?

2nd in nba voting for MVP and first in players (because they know much less about basket ball then the fans) but he's overrated.

The whole team plays poorly for a couple of games and James(still avg 27/6/6) and TJones are the problem. wow Lets trade them both for draft picks

Rocket fans get a grip, and appreciate that we have one of the scarce few players worthy of being called a super star

Chris Paul gets a pass every year(10) and has always played with another allstar. How many times has his team done more then expected? They don't even reach expectations.

Kobe is being paid like a super star, however he's been hurt quite a bit over the past few yrs (along with a diminishing game) and I don't see the national media still touting him the Kobe of old.

IMO the answer to OP question is Melo.

Nobody respects Melo or Kobe anymore. They aren't mentioned among the games elite, so I don't even consider them overrated anymore.

I stick by Anthony Davis. It's not that he isn't a great player, I would probably say he's already top 10, top 15 at least. But the national media was playing him up as one of the games luminaries, some were even saying he's the 2nd best in the game behind LeBron. The hype for his ascension moved way out in front of his actual progress as player.

Now his team is still winless. He still hasn't grown into being a player that can carry a team to victories like LeBron, Curry, Harden, Durant, Westbrook and even CP3. He may very well get to that level eventually, but he is undeserving of that recognition right now. He's on that second level with the likes of Blake Griffin.

When teams start to play you like you are a super star the game gets a lot tougher.

This - in terms of value for money, he went from best deal to worst deal. Glad Morey didn't match.
