Let's see how Rondo does once he doesn't have 3 first ballot hall of famers around him. Give me Deron Williams any day, on any team. Maybe John Wall in a few years once he puts on more muscle.
Rondo went off in the playoffs when KG was out. He did that while Ray and Paul were playing inconsistent. The 3 hall of famers argument is pretty weak in regards to Rondo. Lets not act like Deron Williams has not been surrounded by talent.

shane battier. he's a certified scrub and yet he's starting and playing 20+ mins a game. scrubs should be at the end of the bench
um.. yea. they think he's a glue guy. i think shane's political career is going to take off. his ability to cover his scrubbiness with coaches is just incredible. he is what you called a "teacher's pet." dude can suck balls and coaches still love him.
Rondo is only the best defender at the point and one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, controls the pace of the game, gets to the cup on the regular, and drops dimes like it's no ones business. He doesn't have an outside shot, but so what? He does everything else better than or as well as any other PG in the L. And he's only paid 9 mil per. I'd take him over Paul and Deron for his defense.
