I don't consider Van Gundy a Rocket yet. He's still a Knick in every way. It shows in how he treats people. I won't consider him a Rocket until he actually shows some positive emotion and talks positive about our team and shows some loyalty to his players and the organization. Until then, he's just a hired Knick.
How is it JVGs fault that the team shot 30% this weekend. If they shoot even 40% they score over 90 pts in that game if they shoot 45% they hit 100 he has opened up the offense... the offense now just needs to step up

pippen turned on his team..the barkley blame game thing was about as gutless as it gets. jvg, at worst, has done an inadequate job. but no one is saying he's not a team guy. pip by a landslide.
no doubt.....I dont see this as being close at all. VG is not a good coach for us...even I can admit that.. but he has YET to quit on us. like codell said.....I hate quitters. Pippen quit....thats why some here still call him Quiitten. and on top of that, he tried to blame it on guys who actually gave an effort for the team. Maxwell QUIT on the 2nd championship team, he was a tempermental WHINER who rode the coatails of dream to the first championship. Max played with heart, and was fearless, but was also an IDIOT ! Glad he is gone. DD
