Beverely wouldn't have been the 2nd choice, but Harden is clearly the leader. He refers to himself as the leader and has been the leader by all accounts since day 1. He's the best player on this team and he's the one that the players look to score and play off of. If you think Lin is the leader then James Harden must be living in his own world, because he seems to think he's the leader of this team.
i love parsons, and i dont like mchale's sub decisions. but if parsons was to be the leader of this group, he shouldnt be doing this to the coach, even if its mchale.. maybe parsons has had enough of mchale's lin treatment thanks to teh poster on the other thread. just had to share
I was thinking Mchale as well...but as stated in the first post... all successful teams have players who are leaders...
LOL..this is interesting as I have noticed that Harden keeps saying this, but you never hear the other teammates saying that he's their "leader". As good as Harden is I think he went with this the wrong way. A good leader normally doesn't announce it, at least not right away, like Harden did. You let your body of work do all the talking and people will follow.
I can see why people would say Harden...since he is the best player in the game...but I don't see him really commanding the rest of the team as I see Garnett or James do and what Fisher did with the Lakers. Lin can also be in the running since many PGs initiate the offense but if it was Lin vs Harden...it would have to be Harden...
Obviously Harden. Dude is a star and he plays the most minutes. I was surprised there was a majority vote that Lin was the leader.
