Before you make your decision, go to this ESPN link where Jeanie Buss says, "if only dad were still alive ." Then take a second to gather yourself for the unprecedented Haterade that follows: It's strange, how one team gets so much crappier yet talks all that much more trash. All the while, the Rockets made the biggest improvement of any team this offseason, got the best player, and you don't hear any bragging from our side. No boasting about Not One, Not Two, Not Three or even anything close. You don't even see our players calling shots the way the new Nets players are doing. You have to believe our guys are just taking all the hate in, just breathing it in deep and letting it simmer. Because come game time, we're gonna be the ones trucking fools. We're taking names this year. For myself, I'm gonna particularly enjoy sending those cheaptalk bandwagon Lakerfans back into their holes, never to come out for another half decade while Kobe and Jim Buss take turns burning that franchise to the ground. No amount of blowout will be enough for me to turn away from the TV if it's the Lakers we're wrecking. What about you? Any compelling reasons to enjoy pummeling another team into oblivion this year? Utah is always a good pick.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
After last year I think we have a bone to pick with Golden State, but your reasoning for Utah is a valid statement
OKC and its not even close. Bev sparking death threats, us embarrassing them by grabbing two games in the series, the Harden trade, bordering states...too much fuel for the fire!
Jazz. The focus should always be on beating the Jazz. It's blasphemy that this truth is not being recognized.
These are pretty tame compared to the comments they leave on his instagram. I hope Dwight goes 40/20 multiple blowouts (preferably all at Staples Center). Lakers fight tooth and nail, yet end up 9th seed and miss the playoffs. Then Lebron, Melo can turn em down and extinguish any remnants of hope for their franchise, while they desperately scrounge around the garbage bin for Farmar's and Kaman's to stay relevant. While Laker fans convince themselves that only Wesley Johnson was brave enough to withstand the bright lights and intense pressure of such a majestic dynasty. .... The Clippers fans multiply and take over LA. Their numbers fade, and their enormous egos are forced back to earth. Natural selection slowly eradicates the Laker fanbase, and the remaining morlocks are forced to move to underground caverns where they cannibalize one another into nonexistence. The end.
Yea I forgot the Warriors. Originally meant to include them just for the entertainment factor last year. Problem is that they have never really been a thorn in the Rockets' side, unlike all the other (Western conference) teams above. Warriors are just gonna be another team that's young and talented that we happen to match up REALLY WELL against.
to be honest I think every team we play is gonna come at us hard especially the teams that wanted Howard (ATL,DAL,LA,GSW) OKC cause of the PB play on WB add us stealing Harden ...I think we might be hated like the Heat but for different reasons
