What are the chances we can trade for Ryan Anderson now? He would be such a good fit.

    I'd say 0.

We have no salary to send out for him unless the team is intending to dump Brewer or Ariza.

Assuming Terry is coming back, which is a decent and probably the best choice in the market now, that will leave a last spot in the team and I assume a big man will be a rational choice like Alan Williams.

However, judging from the last few years training camp, I will not be surprised to see Morey will sign 1-2 extra guys and give them a loot at training camp and then just waive them even with a full year of guaranteed min contract, like Ish Smith, Jeff Adrien, Reggie Williams ect.

If that's the case, that really means : the last 3 spots : including Terry, Alan Williams (assuming we sign him), and even Thorton, are not 100% safe.

But the lineup looks much better than 2 days ago.

I am actually very interested to see who are the extra 1-2 min contracts Morey will sign for the training camp.

Who will be the next Casspi or Reggie Williams?

I'm thinking Chuck Hayes for the last spot. Alan Williams is too green.

I'd still like to see them make a move for a stretch 4, I just don't see where one is there for the taking that we can make work financially. When Josh Smith was hitting from 3, this team was unstoppable. If there was a way to trade Tjones for a stretch 4, I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I will not be surprised to see that Morey will sign both and they will fight for the last spot in training camp.

Don't think Chuck Hayes will get a better than min contract now anyway.

I think we'll still make another trade. Probably Tjones and some of the other young guys for a better 4 to solidify our front court

We are way over the cap and even above the tax line, we have very limited option now other than signing min contracts.

We may even make some arrangements in order to sign Harrell and Williams to multi year contracts.

I like Chuck, but Williams is younger, a better offensive player, and a better rebounder.

If Williams doesn't work out, so what? All it cost us was Chuck Hayes as our 3rd string center.

    In December, TJones/McDaniels/minimum contract works.

    Lawson/Beverley
    Harden/Thornton
    Ariza/Brewer
    DMo/Anderson
    Dwight/Capela

It's definitely a number crunch, but I hope we can find the space for Williams. Doesn't seem like it right now.

Chuck Hayes deal is close per Feigan.

Williams/Wood/etc are going to have to beat out Hayes or Marcus Thornton for a roster spot. I do think Thornton is far from a lock now that we have McDaniels and Lawson, and likely Terry back.

We lost Dorsey, Smith, and Papa who played the 4 a bit last year. Harrell isn't likely to be ready, Howard is likely to be injured, or on a minutes limit to reserve him for the playoffs, so we need a back-up big that can play the 5. Terry is at his best as a 2, I like his veteran leadership, but we're set for wings. As good as Capella looked, he's a ?. I'm on the Chuckwagon bandwagon!

Well better than having to watch Boozer I suppose.
Terry and Chuck then. I won't have any issue with cutting Thornton, much prefer to sign Bigger Al.

Damn. That's crazy. I didn't even think about how when we were getting torched by LMA in the playoffs that we all witnessed at one point Chuck Hayes absolutely shutting down LMA as our 6'6 center
