If we end up with a high draft pick, who do you want to go after?

My vote is Perry Jones from Baylor.

Scouts compare him to Tmac but I see more durant in him.

I know he is struggling, but I still say Harrison Barnes, after that either Jones (Percy or Terrence).

The thing is that when you draft a player "who will be a clone" of a young current star, they normally don't pan out. Often because you project some ability or talent that is not there on the pick, never allowing him to meet your expectations and/or hindering his development.

Let's get a freakishly long wing player who can create mis-matches. Jones FTW!

Realistically the Rockets are probably looking at the 10 - 14 range again this summer unless either the Knicks plummet, the Rockets plummet, or vise versa. Right now, at this range in the draft, these are the players I would be targeting -

    1. Jan Vesely

-Surprise, Surprise. A 6'11" Euro who can shoot. Havent seen but a game or too of his, but what I have seen that I like that he is a competitive player who, while not really a true post player, shows the ability to still block shots and rebound. Just lacks the size yet to bang in the post.

    2. Donatas Motiejunas

-Looks to be a similar player to Vesely but with a tad bit more experience. Reports show motivation and defensive mentality are the biggest downfalls.
True 7'0" player who likes to shoot jump shots... alot of jump shots. Has possibly the best potential of any other player in the draft as being compared to Dirk Nowitzki and Pau Gasol, but shows alot of red flags with attitude and hustle.

    3. Chris Singleton

-Like this Florida State guy alot. Nice size and athleticism at 6'8" for the SF spot, and could even play the PF spot in situations. The best thing I like about this guy is he is a winner and a competitor. Can score the basketball in a variety of ways, but still raw offensively. Has been known for defense and a "glue guy" in college but has shown this year that he can be a playmaker and create shots for himself and teamates.

Perry Jones had a handful of nice dunks last night and a monster block. He's shooting a modest 82 % from the field in conference play so far.

With that being said, we have no shot at him.

    Perry Jones...No doubt

but i dont think we will have a chance at him *unless morey pulls an epic trade*

so i will have to go with the UK product Terrence Jones... if still on board

I think we have a winner in this thread, getting him is another story:
