    Cain. Clinton. Both start with C and both have a somewhat sketchy record in the definition of words when talking about issues with the ladies...

    This could be the Republican's Clinton.

    Well there's a big difference between who I think will win and who I want to win. Admittedly I just voted for who I want to win, Ron Paul. :)

    I think someone hacked my poll because an elected Ron Paul would be a 1 in 1,000,000.{insert Jim's - "So you're telling me there's a chance?" video.}

    Clutchfans posters are much more logical than people who vote in polls on CNN and Fox News :)

    I don't agree with Ron Paul, but I do respect him, which is more than I can say for most of our elected officials in Washington, who no longer even attempt to hide their craven lust for power and wealth.

    Obama is the favorite right now. The Republican party has no clear front runner at the moment. Ron Paul will get my vote in the primary, but I have little faith in him winning. If Ron Paul runs as an independent, Obama wins the election easily.

    I think that Romney is probably 2nd most likely now.

    ron paul running as an independent is the only threat to obama, imo. if the republicans were really interested in winning in 2012 they would nominate him.

    i think he would wipe the floor w/ obama in a debate.

    You do not think that, you are not stupid.

    The old man was thoroughly exposed by the simple question of whether he would leave an injured uninsured person in the street to die, the central paradox of libertarian thought, the vlaue of human individualism versus human collectivism, and you want to put him in a debate against a lawyer, Constitutional scholar, master orator, skilled international negotiator, who benefits from the daily moderating of debates by the best and brightest minds the nation has to offer, briefing by experts in every field?

    Like Randall Tex Cobb could hammer Muhammid Ali.

    As opposed to isolationist? Because all you have to do is ask how the US would function without influencing it's international relationships on trade, energy or nuclear proliferation because they will effect us whether we want to engage them to or not.

    You seriously overestimate Ron Paul's national appeal beyond the hardcore Paulites.

    The only role Paul would play as an independent would be to insure an Obama win by splitting off conservative voters.

    As the GOP nominee he would be looking at an inverse Nixonian style 1972 landslide for Obama.

    All "Paulites" do this. Paul has all kinds of great points, many irrefutable I think and many that no other politician will touch, which give him great appeal. But he also has an extremely dark side as does Libertarianism generally. It is every man for himself, it is cruel and, as such, it is extremely short-sighted and considers not even a little of the ripple effect of going to such a survival of the fittest governing system. "Paulites" are no less blind to their candidate's tragic flaws than LaRouchites. Both groups are cult-like in their devotion and in their outright refusal to accept any evidence that contradicts their guy's platform.

    jo mama is a textbook case.
