Rudy was on different sports talks shows immediately before the draft and he said several times that they wouldn't be drafting backcourt help.

Why do believe the other internet sites over what is posted on this BBS?

I think that would have been the dumbest thing to date...

drafting a guard or shooting guard

when we have an all-star in Francis (next year), and a future all-star in Mobley (another year or so)

Shandan Anderson and Drew are great ball handlers themselves and so is Moochie Norris, and adequate back up.

    we need BIG POWERFUL men....

Mobley will never be an all-star in my opinion.

Has to beat out: at the 2 spot
    Kobe Bryant
    Anfernee Hardaway
    Michael Finley
    Steve Smith
    Larry Hughes
    a few others

He has a shot though, if a few of these guys get injured and he gets a good deal better. Will have to conquer an often horrific shot selection as well. But he'll definitely be a very good player for many years to come.

Cuttino has alot of skills and he has the talent to become an all star. But CaucasionSensation is right, the west is loaded with sgs with big names that ppl know so its hard for cuttino. The all star players go to the all star game because of popularity.

I remember how when penny was in orlando and got injured in the beginning of the year and played only like 4 games. He was coming back like around all star break and in the voting penny had the most votes even though he hardly played.

    ITS ALL ABOUT POPULARITY.

Francis3, thank you, excuse me I have to dry my eye.

There's just too much talent in the West at the SG spot, for the forseeable future. Although that could change, I'm willing to bet that it won't and Cuttino will never be granted that status.
