Prime Olajuwon is the best player on any court he steps on. That is my contention for placing him #1.

Does Swag factor into this vote? If so #1 should be World B Free.

Honestly, I couldn't really order these twenty guys from 1-20 in order of greatness. I'm just going to list them in alphabetical order and let y'all see if they deserve the honor.

    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    Charles Barkley
    Larry Bird
    Kobe Bryant
    Wilt Chamberlain
    Tim Duncan
    Kevin Garnett
    LeBron James
    Magic Johnson
    Michael Jordan
    Karl Malone
    Moses Malone
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Shaquille O'Neal
    Oscar Robertson
    David Robinson
    Bill Russell
    John Stockton
    Jerry West

I could tell you that David Robinson is the '20th' guy out of this list. Jordan, Magic, and Bird are '1-3'. After that its just too close.

Players such as these are proven day by day greatness. Players like Kobe Shaq Duncan LeBron are so good that they stand out from the average NBA Player.

    ubigred < 25 years old? :p

Just teasing you, but it's pretty clear that you never saw Bird play and are only going on how great you think Lebron is.

Lebron is a better athlete, sure, but Bird was one of those people who could not be stopped from scoring. In fact, he would tell people right before a play not only that he would score on them, but also, HOW he was going to score on them and they still could not stop him.

Let's not pretend he was completely unstoppable, there were defenders/teams that gave him trouble, while Bird also had superior talent around him.

The argument could go either way.
