I like Ryan Hollins. He was traded to Dallas last year but should be a free agent right now. A young 7 footer, not particularly great but pretty athletic and a solid defender. We might get him pretty reasonable compared to some of the other guys out there but luring him out of Dallas may prove difficult because he is almost guaranteed to get that back up role given Dallas has no other options.

No Gortat! He is like the last M.G., Matt Geiger. Decent yes. But he will surely get overpaid. Not worth messing with.

Who would you rather have as the Rockets' Starting Center?

    Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire?

    I'd personally go after Bosh.

Amare is easily the superior talent. Bosh shies away from physicality and IMO can't even play the 5 because he cant bang down low. But when you factor in attitude, injury history, and likability the answer is Bosh. If you had Bosh on this roster (and no Yao) I think you play Scola at the 5 offensively.

Considering Yao might never play again I think the decision is easy.
