Reason I believe its a joke? In 20 + years ive watched basketball, never have I seen recently retired players become head coaches, and assistant coaches. I dont think some of the players are as qualified as some of the candidates available
Don't hate on the Warriors just because they were trying to get Dwight. They have a fun young team and should be a good watch this season. Scalabrine has been retired a season or two by the way, and has been working with some eastern conference team in some small capacity I believe -- plus, he's just becoming an assistant, not a head coach like Jason Kidd. Do better fellow Rocket fans.
