Blazers lost quite a bit: LMA, Batum, Wesley Matthews, Aaron Affalo.

yes they did. but wes had a torn achilles and afflalo played horribly. And they managed to reload in smart moves with young talent. And have tons of capspace. They will be allright. They are smart.

The kings on the other hand are joke..

    Kings easily.

Players are turning down more money from them.

Then they have completely ruined the Cousins thing. It's only a matter of time now before they are forced to trade him.

Lakers and Knicks I think didn't do so bad. No one wants to play with them but at least they are trying to build a team

The Kings did fine. WCS was a great draft pick for them and Rondo on a 1-year deal will be excellent, else he is out of the league. They also got Belinelli. They did fine.

If you say so. That team making the playoffs?

If not, you think Cousins will be happy about that? That team needs to make the playoffs now. They whiffed on everyone they targeted outside of a PG that no one else really wanted and a bench shooter.

they drafted a player with pick no.6 who is projected to be a role player and not a star and on top of that he may need surgery and has health concerns.
They also traded last years lottery pick and another pick and two pick switches for capspace that they failled to use. Rondo had only the lakers as suitors and they could have signed him with the capspace they already had.
They did bad and they were humiliated. When bev turns you down for less money you are humiliated.

IMO, the Lakers are having the worst summer. They have no one of importance to lose. That includes what's left of Kobe.

Exactly. When players are taking less money just so they don't have to play for your team, you know your organization is a tire fire.

kings started horrible but they put together a decent team. last season their was some advanced stat that ranked their starting lineup in the top 5.

but you could say the clippers have the worst offseason. they lost their contender title.

Why are people saying the Lakers? They've lost essentially nobody, drafted Russell, and got an upgrade at both PF & Center. Sure, they didn't get LMA, but neither did 28 other teams.

From a dropoff perspective, it has to be either Portland, who went from a top 4-6 seed in the West to a lottery team, or the Clippers, who went from a top 4 team in the league to, as of right now, one that will be lucky to get out of the 1st round.

Clippers didn't lose much, at least not enough to constitute the worst summer award.

It was expected LMA was leaving Portland. Portland was a dead man walking this season.

The Knicks and Kings are just dead. The Knicks arent going anywhere for awhile as with the Kings. A doormat doesn't deserve to win this award.

Its a close tie between the Lakers and Dallas. This was the Lakers chance to sign a couple big name free agents. No stars want to come near this team until they clean up their Kobe mess. The win it by a notch because this signals that they will not be contenders for the short term future.

My biased disgust for the Lakers give them the nod, as I am happy to watch them sit at the bottom. Truly, Dallas has taken the biggest hit. What was once considered serious contenders for the next couple years is now a ship that will struggle to keep players. I like Cuban, but he really needs to step back and let a professional run the team.

With Lakers, Kings and Knicks, it's not so much a matter of them not adding net talent, it's that the sum of these moves they made doesn't get them anywhere. Maybe these teams will now win 30, 35 games instead of 20-25 but so what?

And it's hard NOT to add net talent when you are among the 5-6 worst teams in the NBA last season-- you get a high draft pick, has little talent worth spending on so you have more $ to spend on outside guys.

In a few months, no one is going to care who lost the summer
