Ok so the team has a lot of holes. As a thought experiment what All Pro addition would make the greatest impact?

Cap be damned? I mean the chiefs had like $200 dollars of cap space at the end of last season. What does that get you, a banana? Yet they were able to extend Mahomes, Jones added a tackle or 2, resigned Robinson and added CB help. The key is getting 2 guys to restructure. We'll see how great teammates they really are. I'm asking Martin and Merciless.

Cornerback. Get Roby some help. He doesn't have to be first tier.
    Add a DT
One linebacker that doesn't get picked off every time.
    1 guard.
    Rookie RB
Get a schedule that has the 1st place teams spread out and not all at once.
    Stack the Ws.

The team yet again has no pass rush outside of Watt, fix that and the rest of the defense will magically look better.

We need a run stopping DT the most, followed by a supreme pass rushing talent, followed by two good corners.

First instinct was to go CB, but I checked DE/Edge rusher instead.

If you can find a way to pressure the QB the defensive backfield would look way better - its too bad that Greenard isnt flashing out there.

BPA in round 3 next year among defensive players IMO.

QB: I think we might be good here for a while.

RB: David Johnson is completely washed, and while I like Duke a lot he's more of a complementary back. I hope we draft one.

WR: Depends on the WFV market, if we get him back and Coulter shows something this becomes less of a need, but if WFV is gone regardless we will need more depth.

TE: Depends on if Warring shows anything, but with Akins and Fells' age we will need help

OL: Tackles are set, guards are not. Nick Martin has quietly had a decent season and played well as of late. OG is biggest need on offense to me.

DL: We need help here. Blacklock looks like a rookie but has had the occasional flash. JJ might be traded for picks.

LB: B Mac will probably be traded this offseason as well, and Zac needs to refine his tackling approach. Adams has been solid. Mercilus looks washed most of the time, we need help on the outside.

DB: Priority No. 1 above all else. We need at least 2-3 CBs and a safety.

I think the offense needs an infusion of depth, the defense needs an infusion of talent/depth.

The biggest position group that needs to be fixed though is our Front Office/Coaching postions

If Texans are keeping Watt then that's one of your edge rushers.Duh right. But I mean In the 3-4, it's rare to have more than 2 DEs that get to the quarterback. One of The 2 outside linebackers is supposed to get to the qb along with that DE/edge rusher.
    Yet.. quietly
Omenihu has sneaked in and had 11 qb hits playing around 47% of the snaps. That's 2 qb hits more than JJ (1 more than Frank Clark with 35% less snaps than Frank Clark). It's why I didn't choose another DE.
If Charles at age 23 can improve just a bit in the run game, he can be one of the best DEs in the league.

For the Romeo hybrid, which is why he loved Clowney so much, the OLB has to be able to go hand down from the 3-4 to the 4-3 without skipping a beat. Not having that versatility from the OLB and missing baseball legend, Reader left a huge hole for this season
I like the hybrid 3-4 and hope the new coaching staff has that in their scheme.

I think the D-line is the biggest need followed by the secondary... Getting torched thru the air is one thing but until we stop the run we will never compete.

Only huge need i see on offense is RB but i dont think we need to really put alot of resources inti that.

Entire defense. We can rely on our offense to be somewhat passable with Watson, but Watson is not on the field on defense. Defense needs to keep us in games so that Watson can work his magic.

Entire defense. Wish we would have kept Reader. I guess you can keep Justin Reid. Everyone else can go honestly
