Since this current team has some missing pieces, which ex-Rockets would be most suitable to this team, current needs.

    Are we missing :

The 6th man/clutch shots of Elie
    The pg/shooting of Kenny Smith
    The passion/intensity of Madmax
    The rebounding of Otis Thorpe

    MAX!!
he would POUND some heart into the bigs we got
they got the bodies.. . just not the attitudes

I think Max is more apt to make our guys harder
    while
OT maybe made soft by these guys . .. he was always
    a quiet type guy

Man, when you look back that 94' team had everything right.

    Hakeem-Kenny-Madmax-Cassell-Thorpe-Elie-Horry

Everybody had a role and was good at their role.

I got confused by this thread, I thought it was who the ROCKETS NEED.
So I thought we'd dump MoT and Juwan for OTIS.

But since its ADD to the Team. Its between Vernon and Mario.

meanwhile, our coach is making our players play predetermined roles, delegating strengths and emphasizing weaknesses....

    Wow almost 70% for OT

Means this team is lacking ALOT MORE on rebounding/defense than passion/intensity, or a true pg.

We don't have a true 2 guard. Max played the best one one one defense in the league, not to mention his team defense. OT would be great, but a classic Vernon would be better.

I'd add Rookie year Hakeem at the PF spot when he had the aggression
