    I heard the plan on 13 more after next episode. Next episode will be the season finale.

    No way HBO allows that. HBO is going to want 10 episodes per season. They may get a shortened eight season. HBO definitely wants 10 per season. Nothing had been finalized when that quote was written back in April.
