    Steve
Got traded to Memphis. Better chance that Elvis suits up for the Griz.

    Horry

Technically not retired. But says he's happy hanging out with his family. Earlier mentioned he would like to help a contender in the playoffs. Remember Rudy T called up Charles Jones.

As a stopgap measure, the Rockets brought in 6-9 veteran Charles Jones on Wednesday and will sign him today to a 10-day contract. Jones, an 11-year veteran who will turn 38 on April 3, spent nine seasons with Washington before playing with Detroit last season.

    Sam
He's suited up a couple times and then a couple times he's wearing a suit for the Celtics

Steve - who knows? If he gets bought out, I just hope he doesn't goto any playoff teams in the West.

Horry - Hopefully for us. :D

Sam - I hear they are grooming him for a coaching position with the team. His role is similar to what we brought Deke here for. Out of all the three, he might have the best chance of playing again. Its slim though.

Grandpa Charles Jones for the win.

Yeah, because a look at his last two years would convince any western playoff team that he's the key to putting them over the top

    Not really.

I think Sam the ET has the best chances.

He has actually a role on a team and played last year.

    Francis...who knows? Guy's still acting like he's an All-Star.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Memphis Grizzlies have waived three-time All-Star Steve Francis.

The Grizzlies had acquired him from Houston in December in exchange for a 2011 conditional second-round draft pick.
Francis, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound guard, did not appear in a game for Memphis or travel with the Grizzlies, though he did occasionally practice with the team.
Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace announced last week that the team was working on a buyout of Francis' contract. The Grizzlies announced Tuesday that Francis was leaving.
The 31-year-old Francis averaged 18.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists in nine seasons with Houston, the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks. He was an All-Star in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

I wonder how much he is being paid not to play? He has been bought out twice. I never thought he was a max player, but I didn't think it would end this badly. Well, the NBA made him rich.

If its true that Celtics are trying to get Marbury, its over for Sam too.
I think Sam wants to coach after he stops playing though.

Well, at least Sam is still on a team -- the very last of the championship Rockets.
