DMo is the most talented and best fit on the list, but I doubt he'd even return a phone call due to how things went down last year.
OK, fine. Now - - new representation must indicate a level of dissatisfaction w/the old representation. So, what might that represent for the future? Who might ever have anticipated a willing reunion of MDA/Melo?
That's true, and he does still spend time in Houston (in fact I think he's in town right now) so I guess anything is possible. I'm not sure how much the Rockets still have to spend on FA's, but it would be a nice move that would help solidify the 4 spot.
Dmo is looking at signing a cheap contract this year anyway, give it a shot dmo and come back to Houston. Let dan tony coach you for a year and see what happens
I would probably rather have either Scola or Jet than any of these guys, even though in basketball terms Scola and Jet are decaying corpses. I guess the correct answer according to need and market value would probably be Beasley but I'm not sure I want back on that ride. Black would be an okay signing if we intend to play Qi zero minutes this year, otherwise you're asking for a logjam.
If we can include former players from training camp rosters, I'd throw Alan Williams into the mix. His production in limited minutes is phenomenal, and only gets better with consistent increased playing time. He recorded at least 20 minutes of playing time in 19 games last season, and recorded double doubles in 15 of those games. He'd be a terrific option if we continue to limit Nene's regular season playing time.
Peeps are still pining for Dmo.....I actually wish we could make a trade for Sabonis' son later this year or next year. Doma instead of Domo.
