Probably the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Mostly to settle down and live a nice safe family life in Ciudad Juarez.
Welp, I live in Illinois, so the pickings are pretty slim. I'm certainly not going to go any further north, so Wisconsin, Iowa, and Indiana are out. I guess I'll go with Kentucky over Missouri. Louisville always seemed like a reasonably nice place to live.
Live in Oregon, so worst option is Nevada and second worst option is anywhere in Idaho that is not Boise as the most scenic other places get too cold. Certain spots in Washington would be OK, but likely cooler and wetter as well as more expensive while California is too Californiaish. So, I will go west and take Hawaii.
I've lived in Louisiana . . . . it is not as back as they say but . . .not great either I just would not consider OUR-KANSAS or Oklahoma So I would want to do something different New Mexico or Mexico sounds right Rocket River
I would move to Albuquerque or Santa Fe. Colorado use to be part of Texas, so ideally there but stupid oklahoma is in the way.
Living in Minnesota my choices are North and South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. There is also Manitoba and Ontario in Canada to the North. Even without state income taxes I would still rule out the Dakotas. Not much interest in Iowa either. Western Wisconsin wouldn't be much different that Minnesota. Madison is pretty cool though. Very similar, except for climate, to Austin. Don't know much about Manitoba and Winnipeg doesn't sound very interesting. Heard a lot of good stuff about Toronto so would probably choose Ontario.
Most of those poor fools voting on the poll have never had Krispy Kreme and cannot possibly understand automated doughnut nirvana.
Yup. My parents used to take us to Arkansas for vacation, all over the state. The Ozarks and other parts on the white river, etc. are insanely beautiful. 99% of the people who crack on the state have never been there. I'd LOVE to live on a cold river, long dock down the mountain to my boat, drive up river and then float for miles back catching trout in my retirement.
The donuts are delivered to Krispy Kreme pre-made. At Shipleys, they are freshly baked. I can taste the difference, but if you prefer the pre-made taste then yes, I can understand.
Live in Texas. Would move to Arkansas rather easily. Like longhorn said, people who rag on it have probably never been. Dont sell Arkansas short poeple. Its called the natural state for a reson. Clean parks, clean campgrounds, just clean, small and enjoyable with many outdoor activities. And Krispy Kreme FTW. Hands Down. Source: I grew up on shipleys. No Comparison
