Count me in on Keanu Reeves. Yikes. All these female "actresses" people keep mentioning don't really count. Sure, Pamela Anderson is TECHNICALLY an actress, but mentioning her in the same sentence as Meryl Streep when discussing acting is like mentioning a three-year old's finger painting in the sentence as Van Gogh's Starry Night.
have you ever noticed, how jude law is the only actor that gets away with never having to try an accent? He can be a russian in the battle of stalingrad or a confederate in the american civil war, his accent remains british with that said, he is one of my favorites. But I agree with you about Leo. In America it's bling bling, but here it's Bling Bang blllllllllahhhh.
One of the best reviews I read about a Keanu Reeves movie read something like: "Once again, Reeves seems surprised he is acting in a movie"
really?!?! I love his accent in Blood Diamonds huh. He is probably one of my favorite actors. Blood Diamonds, Beach, Titanic, Catch Me If You Can being just a few of the kick ass movies he has been in.
I think its a brit thing. Have you seen Patrick Stewart? He never changes his accent. Although, on the other hand, Christian Bale is great about changing accents.
His real name is Nick Coppola. He decided to go with Nick Cage because he wanted to make it on his own.
I also will add Jimmy Fallon. He single handedly would ruin SNL skits by not being able to not laugh.
While he's usually pretty bad, I thought he was actually pretty decent in "Running Scared." My worst: Male: Jeff Goldblum (how has this guy not been mentioned yet?) Female: Sharon Stone
Funny you mentioned The Beach. He won the Razzie for worst actor with it. There's a fine line between good acting and overacting, and Leo blew by it like he had a lap to go.
Actor: Paul Walker (does any movie actually "star" Paul Walker?) Actress: Claire Forlani (no emotional range whatsoever.)
