So right now, we are ranked 9th in the Western Conference at 21 wins and 21 losses.

So if we never traded for James, what do you guys think our records would be now?

I suspect we would have had Kevin Martin starting at SG whom is averaging

    15 points
    44.2% FG
    43.1% 3pter
    91.6% FT
    2.5 rebs
    1.3 assist
    1 steal

And Jeremy Lamb but not sure how much PT he would get

    Thoughts?

Nah, we'd be a lottery team. McHale has forgotten what the PNR is, or how to run a screen. Might have early onset dementia or something, seems as though he forgot how to run basic plays that he had from last season.

Something's already telling me these vote results would have completely opposite results if asked on any other basketball forums. (i.e. without favoritism bias)

    Slightly worse IMO.

Less talent overlap (Martin and Lin at this point are a fit better than Harden and Lin), but less talent overall (Harden often carries us on offense and he's obviously way better than Martin).

go check our pre-season games, then you get an idea where we should be without Harden.

We were 5 and 2 in pre-season. That winning percentage would be up there with OKC and the Clippers

It's truly sad that the man is suffering a personal and family tragedy, yet some people around here can't contain themselves as they continually hurl insults at the guy.

Yea it's sad, but don't worry, if he were fired today, he'll still be paid millions of dollars next year for doing nothing like Mike Brown. He'll still have way more money than any of us have in several life times. The guy still has to go.

Not sure if serious? Pre season is totally meaningless. Who cares if our 12-15th men are better than someone else's 12th-15th men?

Probably have 16 wins right now. Kevin Martin is really good this year.

Still playing small ball and not playing DMo and Jones.

Despite having a record close to the Lakers and unlikely to be in playoff contention.

And playing our starters even longer minutes trying to make up 15 point deficits with 3 minutes left in the game.

Ie 5 or more losses and still playing the same way. And McHale will still say 'we just don't have any zip right now. We just need to find a spark somewhere, and we'll be fine'.

Oh yeah, and still not setting any effective screens.
