We definitely will find out whether RFA causes teams to overpay via being concerned of Offer Sheets being matched. If he signs for much less than the Offer Sheet, then that argument will have some teeth...although he surely soured some teams with his actions, and might suffer a devaluing.
He can sign the QO for $4.4m for this year and be a UFA this summer. oh, wait. "Damn BJ, why you make me not sign that."
Just realized that DMo is only the 3rd Rocket not to get a CFans Appreciation Thread upon getting cut or traded #33 Royce White Donatas Motiejunas ouch
One would think Utah would have him signed by the end of the day, if the rumors were true that DMo held out for them.
BJ will not allow DMO to sign until BJ reads and fully understands the new CBA. So look for DMO to sign in 2020
I'd like to see him go to ANY Eastern Conf team where we don't have to face him 3-4x a season (plus playoffs).
Why not? I would love to see him try to guard Anderson or Dekker. Dmo IMO goes to a young team like Philly and signs a 1 year. Teams can also waive players with non guarantees and DMO can take a significant pay cut, play for a contender, play well and raise his value. Doubt that happens but it's his best option.
Warriors (vet min)... [re: JaVale McGee]: Draymond Green’s fervor for his new teammate – he led the recruiting effort during the summer, and they happen to share the same agent (B.J. Armstrong of Wasserman Media Group)
1. His agent sucks. 2. The league is working together against a white guy. 3. Morey is such an evil human being and saying bad words about Dmo. 4. Actually Dmo is currently having 5 contract offers already so he is taking his time and will announce his "decision 2017" in an ESPN special next month.
yeah I think #4 is the big one . . . where will he take his talents? that should be an awesome thread.
