I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs bottomed out and somehow land another franchise player in the draft like they did with Duncan in 1997 or kind of like the Colts landing Luck when Manning was thought to be done after the injury. It would be kind of a fitting setup for the best run franchise in the league to simply reload with a top prospect while teams like the Sixers and Knicks are shamelessly throwing away a season(s) to land a top pick. Reward those who are worthy.
