Contrary to what 'crowd control and mob violence' expert @Senator claims, the looting in liberal Los Angeles has greatly diminished and almost stopped completely. This happened despite people not shooting the looters and crowds. Somehow, the tactics the law enforcement officers and officials have done have actually been successful. So strange that senator's claims that the violence would only snowball and grow until looters started getting shot. The exact opposite has happened here in Los Angeles.
Flint Sheriff ordered his men to drop their riot gear and march with the protesters. No riots. Tennessee National Guard captain ordered his men to drop down their riot shields. No riots.
We can say that about everything related to police brutality and racism. Well if decades of protesting hasn't worked before, what's different now? Well if decades of voting against tyranny hasn't worked before, what's different now? The point of no return is what we're approaching because nothing ever worked and it's fitting that nobody probably ever in American history embodies racism and white privilege more than this President, the son of a wealthy white supremacist.
So now that we have seen looting decrease, the real question remains is @Senator glad that he's wrong and it has stopped or is he disappointed because looters and protesters didn't have to be shot? I'm anxious to hear.
