If they have a university of just 99ers, then that would be the best university in the world.

I think Vince can still play, but son hasn't even been with a team for a full training camp, anyone that thinks he will do crap at this point in time doesn't know how hard the game of football really is at the higher levels of competition.

In my opinion, I would love to see what Case does... but lets temper expectations ppl. He went undrafted for a reason. Plus, I would hate to see Case start this game as KC Def would totally destroy his confidence. People tend to underrate the importance of confidence at esp QB position.

Case is "wired" to excel in situations where he is underestimated and undervalued. People who have closely followed his career know this. That is why we want him to get a shot. Some people just work better from the underdog role. Plus, he is very innovative and clever. Kubiak may try to force him into a box, but when the box doesn't work, he has plan B, C, and D and he has the mobility to execute them. I have seen him complete passes while falling and just a few inches from the ground.

Oh, yee, yee, like that high-pressure game against almighty Southern Miss where he threw a couple of picks and lost. What you do in college doesn't even matter all that much in the pros. Just sayin'.

Too be fair he said "excel in situations where he is underestimated and undervalued"

They were expected to beat Southern Miss. Not the same thing.

Vince Young is past his prime and fat. Lol some of you are living in the past. I vote for Keenum he comes from a better school.

    Nope, he's not fat.

UH is a better school...if you want to be an optometrist.

Where's bigtexxx? he'd laugh at this one.

He came back and had a great game against Penn State in the Ticket City Bowl.

He was bad in that Southern Miss game, but they wouldn't have even been playing for the Conference USA Championship if it wasn't for him.

Also there were a lot of distractions leading up to the Southern Miss game, with Kevin Sumlin interviewing with A & M.

I also recall some dropped passes that would have lead to big plays.

    Different sport.

Sad how they had an elite hoops program that never came back.
How can you not recruit in Houston if you have Dream/Clyde as your alumni?

Either of them deserve a shot though. Schaub needs to be cut based on production vs contract alone. Let someone else try and save the season then draft someone in 2014

Just a lot of bad decisions and bad hires by the Athletic Department over the years.

We seem to have figured it out in Football, had 2 good hires in a row, and now hopefully a 3rd.

Basketball we haven't been as successful.
