You are putting Darko over stromile, kwame, oloqokandi, his career stats will suck bc he didnt get minutes erly on, but this season he is one of the best defensive presence and shot blocker big guys and is a reliable center

You have no idea what you're talking about. Darko is a viable starter these days and Thabeet did more in his rookie season than Kwame did in his entire career.

Who looks at the stats you posted anyway? Casual fans and...that's about it.

Last time I checked - Darko has a ring. Morrison has two.

Sure you can argue about how much they deserved the ring, but hey, they have them.

Come on have some faith. We already know we will Olajuwon and Mutumbo nuturing Thabeet. There has to be a special bond between true Africans. Hopefully we'll still have Yao at the vet minimum or if he retires, a coach for sure (although I wouldn't at all mind to see him try with a team ready to win now, ala Chicago, Miami, not the Knicks, Orlando, etc.). Plus what team has the most experience with men 7'3" and above? Yes our training staff has a part in f'ing up Yao's career, but we've also learned a lot.

And most of all, have you guys looked at Thabeet? He muscles don't look right. He gets pushed around. Wait until he gets arms like Deke and legs like Yao.

I forgot all about this guy. Yes we expected some big things. Same with "Big Dog", Glenn Robinson. He did have a few good seasons, but damn...

Wow, I had forgotten all about this guy. Wasn't he a #2? You've got to be pretty bad to be totally forgotten.

None of the guys you mentioned were surrounded by Hakeem, Dawson, Mutombo, Yao and Sikma before the end of their 2nd season.

The chances of him developing into a capable player is very low. If Thabeet works hard,he could be useful to some extent. I think he will be out of the league in a year. If he doesn't listen to CD and Sikma, then it's useless to ask the Dream or Deke to help him out.

When Thabeet puts in the work and develops into a serviceable, decent or best case a defensive presence who runs the floor and can finish around the basket all you haters will have to eat your words.

Way to show support to your team and its players.

I'm not a hater at all. I want the guy to improve, but he has regressed from his rookie year which is a very bad sign. I hope he will prove me wrong.
