With all this talk about "fireworks" and "confidence" and leaks when is this organization gonna shut up and do work in silence? I'm quiet tired of this show that Morey and Tilman have ran so far
It seems like they love to keep stacking up them L's Just shut up and do your work behind the scenes like Masai. It's sickening the amount of public schadenfraude they engage in from Morey to Tilman to Turd Borwn
Morey & Tilman? Leslie did it too. "We're gonna sign a terrific free agent." They're bold, they're brash & not afraid to talk.
The front office has been publicly humiliating itself the past few years. I don't care for social media, so Morey's tweets just come off as obnoxious to me. I get that he feels he needs to defend his star, but there are classier ways. The referee audit on GS they released was embarrassingly one sided. Even if they had a point, they belie it by injecting their own bias. And the leaks this offseason regarding Butler was also very agenda-driven with almost no substance behind it. Butler didn't even give us a meeting in the end so the interest was clearly not there like they were pushing. I think Morey has done a fine job assembling a roster that can contend for the most part, but I'd rather they just operate in silence. Tilman and Morey seem just as insecure as KD does in my opinion. "No, we're not cheap. We're awesome and people like us, really!"
I take more W's on hype sneakers than morey and crew on getting W's on free agents targets they like. dang shame
Now we know where Capela gets it from. Talk big, then drop the ball. I want them all to just shut the hell up and perform.
I posted this in another thread, but it's probably more appropriate here. While I never really cared about landing Butler I must say... As a Morey supporter, I just think the organization & Morey as a whole handled this in a completely tasteless and tacky way to their fans. Their performance in deciding to take numerous atypical actions such as promising 'fireworks' and 'liking' tweets ect.. things they know only diehard fans will notice which ultimately only led their fans astray was wholly inappropriate and downright shameful.
They never back up all this unnecessarily overconfident and abrasive talk They talk like free agents are lining up outside Toyota Center like breakfast klub on the weekends "Pick of our free agents" my ass More like "pick up the trash leftovers"
