and his wife is a goldman sachs executive. cruz is as connected to the "establishment" and corporate cronyism as those he continually rails against.
Right so he was lying when he said that CNN made a follow up report initially. But he doesn't change his previous lie, or his initial misrepresentation. He's also lying when he says the Cruz people or Cruz himself didn't do anything wrong. But that might just be a difference opinion. Maybe some people think being dishonest and misrepresenting the facts isn't wrong. If that's the case then the Cruz campaign did nothing wrong. But with Cruz' story changing every five seconds it will be hard to keep up with what the current situation is. Just funny that FOX ended up with egg on its face in this whole mess.
Oh, don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying he's not a liar. I find it hilarious that he has changed his story 3 times in two days and his "supporters" have guzzled it each time and that Fox went after CNN all day about it. The thing is he can't NOT be a liar now. If you reverse course 3 times in two days, one of those times had to be false.
Interesting that folks view Cruz as a Washington or political outsider. Seems that his entire working life, heck, even his college life, has been connected with politics. He was active in right wing politics in college. His two brief forays in law appear to have been connected with politics. If folks want an "outsider", I'd think Ben Carson or Donald Trump would fit that description... but Cruz?
No, I get you, it's just that my head's spinning trying to keep up with Cruz' ever changing stream of a story on this.
It is like a shark jumping contest in here this morning. There is nothing really to be done but to stand back and behold the out-of-control, over-the-top, eye-rolling excess of it all.
Agree, but you mean the combined pile of posters from across the political spectrum in this thread, and I mean something else entirely. It's definitely a shark jumping contest as we approach New Hampshire.

Wow, explosive audio release by Breitbart now (see thread on Iowa). Kind of hard to believe how explicit this is.
Cruz wants Carly Fiorina included in the Republican debate on ABC Saturday night. She is the only one left that would be excluded by ABC, as Paul, Santorum and Huckabee dropped out this week. Is it a coincidence that ABC wants to exclude the only Republican woman in the field this year? That very surely should not be ruled out as ABC's motivation here.
