With the crazy lineup from GSW, and the past Huge Three from Miami and Cleveland, when can Lex be so generous and ambitious to setup a REAL Hugg Three and Make Houston a REAL Contender for the title??? I would much rather have Lex as our owner. He's ambitious, brilliant, and in a non comic book world where corruption is legal, would be running the show (maybe not eisenberg).

i dont disagree with arenas assessment. that said, the '5% of owners willing to spend' may simply be a by-product of who is available at the time. les and morey cant force their way into going toe-to-toe with the GSW. the GSW have 4 star caliber players who could be the stars of their own teams. possibly 4 of the top 15 players in the league. sure we can chase players to see if they will sign or we could trade for them... but at the end of the day we may not be able to compare to the GSW. that doesnt mean les sucks or morey sucks... it means there's not enough great players out there to force your way into competing at the highest level.
