I was assuming he would only get the vet minimum. I wouldn't pay him $5M. If any serviceable PG is going to cost $5M, I guess we're stuck with the old dudes.

Dang, you're a little adversarial, Mr. Morey Disciple. Why are you even on this site? 90% of this site is fan speculation/ideas. Does not sound like you're interested in that, so stfu.

You wouldn't use him as a backup? That's all he's going to get at this point in his career. A backup role. Apart from age and experience, he is pretty Jason Terry.

LOL. All hail Daryl Morey as Jesus-like basketball GM prophet! Do not question Morey lol. We should do away with the democratic process and have Daryl Morey hand select the next President of the US.

Rockets have proven over and over again, we need insurance at PG. AB was a team player. Bring him back to H-town.

    We traded him twice.

    No way he comes back.

I wonder how AB feels after Manu or was it Parker that ended his career.

Not a 37 years PG, pass on him. He is too young for this team

I would go for mo williams or aaron brook at this stage.Williams average 17 pt and 6 ast after trading to charlotte last year. He is a 38 percent career 3 pt shooter. Woj said charlotte is willing to do sign and trade for him.
As for brooks ,he had terrible playoff last year but he was kind of decent during the regular season. He shot 39 percent from 3 last year. I would split the MLE between him and McDaniel. I think both of them are better option then terry/prig. At least they can handle the ball and create for others.
We can use them as insurance even if we trade for a better point guard. Beverley are prone to injury the way he play.

I would have Brooks over Papa Priggs. Atleast Curry gets tired, reduces energy running around chasing brooks. Plus Brooks would be our best shooter and god knows we need JUST ONE shooter, just one Morey.

Can you guys imagine Brooks+Brew+Smoove+Terry+Capela super fast breaks? DAMNN That change of pace will tire any team, just after spending so much energy against Harden+Howard+Bev+Ariza+DMO. Old Spurs won't be able to dance with us come 4th Quarters. :)

Second time was more of a favor for him. Went from not getting minutes to playing every night in Denver.

After Manu freaking undercut him on a mid court heave at halftime.

    So stupid

    Former Rocket Free Agents

We have our pick of former Rocket point guards still available:

    Lin
    Brooks
    Shved
    Ish Smith

I doubt we take any of them.

If we get really desperate we could take Chuck Hayes. He is still available...
