yea its so amazing that a 6-7 forward was able to post up a 6 foot guard.

Its obvious Battier is slowing down so we need him to take over but I do not think he should get the job right now. He just needs to continue to work on his D. Plus if we are going to keep Martin and Brooks, we are gonna need Bud to take over the defensive leadership role.

one of the best players in the league. doesn't matter, you give the guy his due, 7 inches of height or not. that's a growth area for him. today it's 6 foot guards, tomorrow it's 6'9" forwards.

he's just young and honestly, he's still a project, but he's playing a lot better than last year. his numbers may not show it but i'm happy with what i have seen.

i know he is getting better but I dont think there is a forward in the league who cant post up a player 6-7 in. shorter than him. Even if they very never shown a post up game, every NBA player has learned the very basics in posting up another player at some point in time. All it is using your size to get closer to the rim, turning around, and shooting it.

Bud posted up Paul Pierce last year in Boston and scored on him.

    He is just fine.

see. Its just something most pro athletes learn. Even most(excluding guys like Aaron, Boykins, spudd webb etc) point guards probably know how to post.

Just the once but he was not asked to do it more often....he has a lot more to his game I think that we are seeing even now.

RV6 whats he scoring? almost 11 points a game in just 22 minutes? You are talking about 3 point shot here. Which will come around after 4 games. Everything else is real fine for 22 minutes of action. Whats Shanes scoring? 3 points in the same time frame? His field goal averages? OK. ;)

We are talking about 48 percent shooting here and 10.8 points within 22 minutes. The three point percentage will work itself out. Thats his history.

Maybe focusing on expanding his game, he hasn't had the same concentration on what he was doing well. Will just take a little time. Thats all.

    I'm not worried.

I think CB has been playing some solid basketball off the bench. I think where he faulters is his lateral quickness which affects him on the defensive end.

I don't see that so much anymore, he is contesting shots more this year than ever.

It seems that Battier's tutoring has worked.
