What's the difference between what LeBron did in 2010 vs Kawhi, this year? Or, even KD 3 years ago.

I think it is even harder to set new goals as he accomplished his goals with ease before he turned 28.

Kawhii did try rob OKC though but they got enough compensation.

Powerhouse? You realise that at the time Spurs won just one series in the last 3 years before drafting Kawhi?

What does the Clippers "tampering" have to do with what Kawhi did? That's not on him.

And Kawhi did not help bring down Toronto or OKC. Toronto wasn't going anywhere without him, and OKC weren't going anywhere with George and Westbrook. Toronto should still be decent next year, and OKC is due for a rebuild.

Paul George doesn't have agency here? He is an LA guy too. No one forced George to ask to be traded, and the Thunder were well compensated.

Technically, OKC could sue Leonard, but they won't. What he did with Paul George is called tortuous interference. George was currently under contract with OKC - not a free agent - thus calling him and convincing him to ask for a trade damaged the Thunder's existing business relationship with PG13.

Frankly, what Leonard did here is infinitely worse than what LeBron did to bring together 3 stars in Miami. And if this sort of thing continues, it will damage the league. It is one thing for players to leave when their contracts are up. It's another thing to force your way out of a contract. Fans will eventually turn on the sport. You'll see it starting with less emotional attachment to local players and reduced local jersey sales.
