I dont think anybody expects Boogie to return to full form anytime soon - that would be a ridiculous assertion...
Much in the same way to assume he will be pure trash and virtually unplayable for the Warriors is equally ludicrous...

but people just want to push a narrative....

    Believe those reports then.

I know he can play and he'd be an upgrade to Ariza.

Most curious to see what GS and Kerr have in mind for this guy because they know all to well about his shortcomings. Right now, he looks like the guy who'll be holding JaVele McGee's old seat on the bench.

their first priority is likely getting him back to a point where he feels good. Theres no rush for him whatsoever since they can win without him. theres conflicting reports on his recovery process so well just have to wait and see.

Okay, folks.....Widespread panic in so many here. Just stop it.

All the cries of desperation/attacks by the impatient, those forgetting or misunderstanding the process, the agenda laden ...those wanting to be right.

Again, we are dealing from a position of strength. We hold the high ground. We have advantages that other teams do not.

If you can't be rational, have a little faith.

DM will trot out an amazing product. Who really doubts that?

Just relax and let it unfold.

Looking at the market and what is left out there. I have no idea how we are replacing Ariza and Luc (if he leaves). A big part of our success last year was our switching defense and we may lose our two most versatile defenders. I have feeling we will be taking a step back this year.

Other teams in the west got significantly better and right now we are worse. Even if we get Melo, we are still worse off.

I really think James Ennis is the way to go. Id want him starting over Luc if we had both next year. I don’t know how Luc would feel about us offering Ennis the full $5 mil MLE and him only a veteran minimum, but I think that’s how much it would take to get Ennis.

Right. I won't believe anything until I see him balling out on the court.

And yet we would still be taking a step back cuz he’s not better than Ariza. How do you replace a starter that averages 40 minutes a game on a 65 win team with a career backup named James Ennis.

By giving him the opportunity to play with Harden and Paul. Just cuz I think Ariza is replaceable doesn’t mean I’m not appreciating what he did or saying Ennis is as good of a player. But with the right understanding and effort from a guy like Ennis on playing alongside Harden and CP3 and in our system, we can easily avoid taking a step back from the loss of Ariza.

Problem is Trevor Ariza has actually been worse playing with CP3 and Harden. He had his best year in Washington. Harden and CP have done nothing to help his production. Last year adding CP3 he averaged the exact same amount of points.

Sometimes players stop getting better as they age.

    Can you explain the process?

Position of strength, high ground, advantages other teams do not...

Unless we are looking at trades, I don’t see many free agents left that are potential difference makers in a GSW series.

No one is doubting that we will be a great team. It is just that when the measuring stick is against GSW, we know that so far it looks like we have taken a step back while they have improved significantly potentially.

I trust Morey fully and to a lesser extent Dantoni and CP3.
But we are still curious as to what kind of impact additions we can make.

Except we won’t be getting him, so no point in bringing him up. Tell me what’s left out there?

    Ennis?
    James Nunnally?
    Nick young?

    Hardly any game changers.
