You beat me to typing this. Great choice.

    Another great one

Lolz isn't that the swedish dude? I swear his songs should've been bigger hits in the USA. Brilliant(ly funny) music.

    I'd add

"Little ditty, about Jack and Dianne"

    and

"Regulatooooors, mount up" or " It was a clear black night, a clear white moon..."

Actually the opening lines of the first song on his first 4 albums are all pretty classic.

And I don't worry about nothin' no
'Cause worrin's a waste of my time"

Guns 'N Roses - Mr. Brownstone

"She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman that I ever seen
She had the sightless eyes, telling me no lies
Knocking me out with those American thighs"

AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long

"You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips"

The Righteous Brothers - You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin

"Hello darlin' nice to see you
    It's been a long time
You're just as lovely as you used to be"

Screen door slams, Mary's dress waves
Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays
Roy Orbison singing for the lonely
Hey that's me and I want you only
    Don't turn me home again
I just can't face myself alone again

If you want a lover, I'll do anything you ask me to.
But if you want another kind of lover, I'll wear a mask for you.

You look pretty in your fancy dress
    But I detect unhappiness
You never speak so I have to guess
    You're not freeeeeeeeeee

I awoke today and found the frost perched on the town
It hovered in a frozen sky and gobbled summer down

Blacking in and out in a strange flat in East London.
Somebody I don't really know just gave me something to help settle me down
to stop me from always thinking about you.

I sit alone in my four cornered room staring at candles..
At night I can't sleep, I toss and turn
Candlesticks in the dark, visions of bodies being burned
Four walls just staring at a *****
I'm paranoid, sleeping with my finger on the trigger

We all came back from the war
I wish somebody would tell me the score
We raked old Poseidon over the coals
Shook his shells, shaved his shoals
Where can a soldier fix himself a drink
Forget the noise, forget the stink
And the opium is running pretty low
'Cause when the pain comes back, I don't want to know
Across yonder ocean the natives are fierce
Their ears are filled their teeth are pierced
But it's not their spears that spill your breath
They kill their enemies by loving them to death

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen.
A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the Queen.

    although ya try to discredit
    Ya still never edit
    The needle, I'll thread it
    Radically poetic

Edit: I dont think it's the best but it makes me want to fight and f*** at the same time.
