A poor man's Detlef Schrempf, IMO. Bobby Jones was much more athletic.

Parsons reminds me a bit of Chuck Hayes. Why? He's smart, he feels like he has something to prove, he has some serious physical skills, and he has the desire, which you can't teach, to get as good as he's capable of being, instead of feeling entitled because he made it to the show, a trait I can't stand, and that we've seen too often on the Rocks. And like Chuck, I think he has an excellent shot at surprising a lot of people and being much better than expected. And lucky for Chandler, he plays a position that we desperately need to upgrade. So I'd give him some serious burn, and I commend McHale for doing just that.

I constantly read, "Play the young guys!" Well, this is just the kind of young guy that we need to play and see just how good he can be. Chase is a good compliment to Parsons, with Bud coming off the bench in the second unit, and both can play more than one position, depending on matchups. I'd keep both, play them, and see what they can do. It's a better option than Lee at the 3, or Williams, as both are undersized and much better options at the two. Absent a trade, that's who I'd like to see in the rotation at the 3 spot, at least long enough to see if it'll work. And if it doesn't, we couldn't possibly be worse off than we are right now. All my opinion, of course.

The problem lies with Martin at 2 and Scola at 4. Those two are complete disasters defensivley and that makes Bud being an average defender hurt. He may be your second best defender in the starting lineup. That cant happen. If the other two are plus defenders, and Bud is your 4th or 5th best defender, you have a good shot at being good.

The time may have come to package Luis and Kevin for... oh, never mind, Stern would veto it.

Guys, you're all missing the point. Say hello to our new, undersized center! :)

That is fair enough, I have been wanting Lee in for KMart forever....just dump Kmart for a future pick.

I guaruntee Morey would do it, but Les wants to stay competitive... I'd have to say if were going for a pick in this years draft that we trade Scola or Patterson to get as high of a position as possible cuz this draft is stacked with big men!!

He can be your 4th or 5th best player on a playoff team, and that's if he develops some offense. Otherwise, he should be a defensive specialist that comes off the bench. Not saying Budinger should be the starting SF though.

In short, our SF position is pretty lacking right now...

Parson's brings energy to an otherwise listless team.

In that regards, he is necessary right now.

I have no doubt that Morey AND Les would trade Martin and Scola for lottery picks, but the problem lies with taking back bad contracts to do so and the quality of the pick.

I think you are seriously underestimating the front office and ownerships desire to get a top 5 pick. They wont do it by gambling on openly trying to lose and ruining the value of every player on their current roster, but they have tried every year to trade their way into the top 5.

High draft picks are gold, and you often have to give up an all-star player at least to get in the top 10.

I assume that these two players will have a much better value next season when their contracts become lucrative on the open market due to their expiration date. Until then, there is no reason to sell two of your best 3 players for peanuts when they will be gold on the open market in 12 months.

I never get why you guys always say that, "Oh, that guy looks good in a suit, NO HOM O."

"Wow that dude has a big c#ck, no h$mo."

It's kind of awkward, when people say that, because it makes the situation even, more ironic.

On your behalf though, as well as your social online comfortably and fear one of your fellow Rocket fans may be ignorantly and somewhat inappropriately expressing his compliments on one of the rookie's physically appearance . . . most of all, social decency, conformity, and social context is not disturbed . . .

...since I'm genetically female . . . well at least most of the time, until I take happy libido boost pills, then a certain part on my body does go a mile high. So, I guess my real gender might not be completely woman.

    I have no clue.

Parsons is a glue guy who has a great feel for the game. Much better defender than the flying rooster and much better passer. He is getting playing time because he brings more height to the team that we desprately need. I'm all for developing our young guys since we cannot compete with the NBA elite teams.

It's not supposed to make any sense, sweetie. I would say "No homo," but I'm not trying to prove anything, plus it wouldn't make any sense.

Though, I don't know how that works though, since I'm a bi-sexual chick.

Technically, if a poster above me is a female and presumably straight-walking, and if I compliment her in anyway, or make a remark about another girl's cuteness. Would I have to say no lesbo, to make her feel comfortable or reassure her I am not a pink plush seeking carpet eater.

I compliment women's looks all of the time, and there's no reason for me to say no lesbo/homo.

It's different for women. Men are more homphobic-- or society (particularly men) is more bothered by male homosexuality. No homo.
