Rammstein. Maybe some White Zombie mixed in. When you lift as much weight as bigtexxx, you need some powerful music.
Depending on whether I am running or lifting weights, its Tranceport - Paul Oakenfold or a mix of Velvet Revolver, Audioslave, and White Zombie's "American Music to Strip To"
Be careful with those Ipod's or other hard-drive based mp3 players while running. It is known to screw up the internal mechanism and cause problems later down the line.
god,,,, now we are going to have these on top of the "whats in your cd player" HURRY UP AND START REGULAR SEASON
Yea, I believe the Rio's are all hard drive based mp3 players as well. I have a Rio Nitrus, and am very cautious to make sure, I'm not running with it. Basically any mp3 player over 1GB in storage is a hard-drive based system. You won't notice the music skipping when you run, but eventually the player wears down and begins to have problems later. Most manufacturers will say its alright for running excercise, but if you read reviews of the players on various sites, people always complain about having problems after using their machine in such a manner.
Hope FattyFatBastard doesn't see this thread... anyway, don't have an MP3 player, but I like to work out to: Elastica - Connection Dave Matthews Band - Too Much REM - Begin the Begin U2 - Gloria (live version) Counting Crows - Angels of the Silences Midnight Oil - King of the Mountain Cake - Comfort Eagle Faith No More - Epic Salt'N'Pepa - Push It Evanescence - Bring Me to Life Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run REM - Radio Free Europe Red Hot Chili Peppers - Mother's Milk (the whole album; I used to play it while practicing racquetball) Big Audio Dynamite - C'mon Every Beatbox Violent Femmes - Add It Up 311 - All Mixed Up Sheryl Crow - Steve McQueen U2 - Even Better Than The Real Thing Run-DMC - It's Tricky Missing Persons - Walking In L.A. Murray Head - One Night in Bangkok Judas Priest - You Got Another Thing Coming Billy Idol - Dancing With Myself Tag Team - Whoomp! There It Is Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Greeting Song hope this post isn't too long...
I have a first-generation iPod and have been exercising with it since I first got it (several years ago). Still works fine. I plan to get a new mini pod for Christmas, so I just need my current one to last a few more months anyway. Here's the current workout list (it changes frequently): Janet Jackson -- "All Nite (Don't Stop)" Lenny Kravitz -- "California" Jamiroquoi -- "Canned Heat" N.E.R.D. -- "She Wants to Move" Harvey Danger --"Meetings With Remarkable Men" Pink -- "God is a DJ" Beck -- "Mixed Bizness" Macy Gray -- "Every Now and Then" Liz Phair -- "Jealousy" Beyonce -- "Naughty Girl" Elastica -- "Stutter" Luscious Jackson -- "Under Your Skin" Garbage -- "Push It" Lit -- "Lipstick and Bruises" Soul Coughing -- "Super Bon Bon" Prodigy -- Funky ****" Moby-- "Body Rock" Prince -- "P Control" Madonna -- "Ray of Light" Dandy Warhols -- "We Used to Be Friends" That's the list for cardio. When I lift weights, I'll just drop a CD in the player out in the office (current faves are the latest from Jane's Addiction and Alanis Morisette) or I'll flip on the television.
