I couldn't get my last picture with the taquito devoured and empty picante packets to work

A regular sausage and cheese taquito is cool, but this made it freaking delicious! Maybe because I love hot and spicy foods, but this made the sausage taste great, and the cheese really stood out for some reason.

I swished around the 1st picante packet while nibbling on the bits for about 10-15 seconds. After I swallowed it, that taquito was the best tasting taquito I've ever had.

The second time, I swished around the picante and nibbled for about 30 seconds. It was like listerine, it just got hotter the longer you held it in. I finished the taquito about 30 minutes ago, but the hot sensation stayed on my lips for about another 10 minutes.

I would have posted pictures a little sooner, but I had to wait for my work computer to load and check work email first.

Amazing, isn't it? It doesn't make sense, but it's true - eating it this way completely changes the flavor and and makes it even more delicious.

I didn't know what to expect at first, but it gave it so much more flavor. I can't believe how good the cheese tasted for some reason.

 

Well, before the world completely discovers this culinary wonder, I'd like to point out that it was my discovery, which I invented years ago when I worked at Whataburger. This will be one of my contributions to mankind.

 

Hmmm. I want to try this now.

 

I did the #11 (which is the BOB but with buttermilk biscuit) with Ranchero sauce and an extra egg. It was good, but your basically paying extra for the jalapeno, because you can get the picante sauce for free.

 

The worst thing about it is... after you eat taquitos this way, you'll be bored and unimpressed with eating them normally. They won't taste as good.

 

well, i finally tried this ridiculous ****...(with a potato, egg, and cheese taquito)...and it actually worked. i took a *sip* of the picante - i can't imagine throwing the whole thing back at once - whatever, enough to be able to "nibble the bits"

figures, you're basically drinking vinegar and then eating egg, cheese and greasy potatoes. the picante sauce is NASTY by itself. the contrast is what makes the taste so savory. i'd imagine you could try this with nachos or something and it would have the same effect.

i have to admit, i was just going to try it with a bite but found it hard to eat the rest the normal way.

 

Years ago I'd go to McDonald's drive thru and order burgers for a dollar. It's a secret menu they had. All for just a dollar. I don't think anybody else knew. That's why I order from the drive thru so no one else could hear.

i didn't want to read through 4 pages of picante shooting tequito fanatics.

anyone got any other secret items minus the breakfast on a bun burger we've been informed of.

i can't exactly afford whataburger right now, but when i can i cant get enough of that thick and hearty or the patty melt nom nom nom im fat

I only get paid once a month, I only get paid for 20 hrs a week at min wage. Got to pay bills and groceries. Usually doesn't leave anything left over. I have enough to eat out every once in a while, but I really need to stop doing that for 2 reasons: 1) I have no savings 2) I'm gaining too much weight.

 

My own personal favorite is simple, a Double WhataCheeseburger, with extra bacon, pickles, jalapenos, and mustard.

 

McDonalds never put the McTaquitos on the menu, but they've had them around since they released the snack wraps. They have a breakfast sausage egg one, and a chicken nugget lettuce and cheese one during lunch. They are really good and only cost like 1.49 I think.

 

I am actually posting from Whataburger's home office in San Antonio (I'm a consultant). The chicken fajita used to be something that was unlisted you could order (it's now on the menu). Otherwise, I don't believe there are any secret menu items.
