I wanted to find out what you guys would do if in this situation.
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jGSxOSah4UU&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jGSxOSah4UU&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

The guy's gf is either inebriated and that played a part in her getting all riled up or she was still sober and just riled up. Regardless, the Dodgers fan going toe to toe with her went too far when he threw his drink in her face and my first thought was that her man should have made it physical right there and then.
Mind you I'm a lover not a fighter and I know there's usually a point where you come across a bigger dude and you're just like I'll let it slide but there's a limit to what you can let someone else get away with and imho you go down swinging in that casem whether you're 5'5 and 130lbs or 6'6 and 250lbs. I dunno, on one hand I think he did well in staying calm but he should have either taken control of "his woman" or stepped in when the other guy disrespected her by throwing his drink.

What do y'all think? What would you have done in that situation?

You don't make it physical. Nobody wins in that situation.

I had a situation where a drunk fan could not keep on his feet and fell on my girlfriend. So...there he was. He was lying down on the ground. My friends were helping my girlfriend up. His head was at my feet. I am 6'5" 260lbs.

What did I do? I got security and he was escorted out of the stadium.

A fight that high up against a bigger dude would be iffy. I'd hate to get thrown over the railing. That said, I probably wouldn't think about that sort of stuff at the time. Punch away!

You did the right thing there and you were probably at a place where security weren't tweedling their thumbs.

She was acting trashy. **** escalates around alcohol and trashy girls. Have better judgment in who you date so you'll never have to be in that position. Especially when you're in the other teams stadium. You are who you attract.

Would it have made a difference if they sat elsewhere? I hear it really doesnt matter at Dodger Stadium, there's trouble regardless of where you sit.(I'm a bitter Cards fan by the way). :)

I've had a group of fat Samoans come up to a girl I was with and start heckling her at an event when I was getting food. It's easy to act like a big man when you're in a group. She ignored it, I came back, told them they needed trimspa, we walked away and relocated. Getting into fist fights in bad situations with strangers proves nothing, you'll have plenty of time to prove your "manhood" to her in private or through silent actions.

If it was at a game, I would ignore it and get security.

    Not the question.
What would you do if you were in the situation? Would you have told her to act right so you could watch the game, called security to take care of things after the other guy threw his drink, or go down swinging with the dude after the drink was thrown?

Exactly, and if you ever wanted to touch them again, you go down swinging. So what if the other dude is huge, I would rather have my arse beaten, than my girl disrespected like that. My girl has to feel safe with me, no matter what she knows i'm there for her.

I would ask her if she wanted to go home and take her frustration out in the bedroom. :D

Gotta control your girl, since she's the one looking like a dumbass.

I've been in a similar incident before, and was caught in between how I should react.

I responded before I watched the rest of the video, just saw the beer part. Did he hit her?!

    If so...then that's a different story.

...btw, that made me never want to go to a Dodgers game.

I would have done like that dad in the lions game and made it look like I was shoving her away but sneak a grabby on those nice sized motorboats.

...oh wait, you're asking about the bf of the girl...

That vid is full of win, dude poured beer on the girl and then pushed her down the steps onto her own nacho plate. Act like a b****, be treated like a b****. Plus the nice advertisement commentary at the end puts the icing on the cake.

    (1) My wife doesn't drink

    (2) When she has drunk, she's never been a routy, fight-picking drunk

    (3) If I got in a fight over something as trivial as yelling at a ballgame, she wouldn't like me very much.

    (4) If she was a routy, figh-picking drunk at a ballgame, I wouldn't like her very much.

And I certainly wouldn't fight someone when I'm seated below them, near a railing. If I was to fight them, I'd find away to at least get on equal ground with them, and away from a ledge.

This has happened to me a few times in my life. When I was 18 I was a dumbass and ready to fight for any reason. It didn't matter who it was or how many. Im really lucky that I never got into any situation where I would have had to have been carried away on a stretcher considering some of the really stupid fights I picked trying to impress my girl.

Now that Im 28, I really analyze the situation. If I was in that situation I would have controlled my woman because the last thing I would have wanted is to be in a house full of fans that hate my guts on uneven ground, near a railing that probably would have killed me had I fallen off of it.

The other day I was walking down the street in a rather shady neighborhood in Bogota with this girl Im dating. She is really attractive and it was just the two of us. A group of 4 punks started talking s**t to us making comments about how they wanted to run a train on my girl. I was about to snap and then thought, what if they are armed? What happens to my girl if they beat my ass? That was one of the most difficult situations I have ever been in. It took every ounce of my will to keep walking listening to them disrespect her and not being able to do a damn thing about it. That night I could not sleep because I was so pissed off, hoping to meet one or two of them by themselves and show them what I thought of their comments.
