This reminds me of 'Dawn of the Dead', which, IMO is one of the most underrated movies of all time. The series, consisting of 'Night of the Living Dead', 'Dawn of the Dead', and 'Day of the Dead', was supposedly supposed to have an unrealized fourth movie.

In the first film, the people are chased by the zombies, in the second they learn to survive inspite of the zombies, and in the third they begin to try to beat back the zombies.

Supposedly, in the fourth film, it was going to be 'life gets back to normal, in spite of the zombies'. Sort of just another hazard in daily life. Sort of 'Go down to the mall to see a movie, but just make sure you bring your shotgun, just in case.'

There are all sorts of really subtle little wry humorous moments in these movies when normal situations and assumptions are skewed by the zombies. Sort of guerilla horror-film filmmaking.

Oops. Looked closer and it seems that this sight is, in part about this film....

Well at least I understand the tone he's trying to convey.
