Rafer Alston and Chuck Hayes are not starters on a championship caliber team. Nothing against either player, but too many liabilities between the two. What do you think it will take for RA to replace them in the starting lineup?

My question is directed to RA and what it will take for him to replace the two...

T-Mac didn't hog jack, he facillitated the offense tonight. It would take the Rockets having a better player than those two on the roster. Right now, it just wasn't there. Looking at how poorly Scola rotated on the defensive end gives reaason for Chuck starting. James get as much minutes as Alston, so it doesn't matter which of those two starts.

Rafer and James played pretty badly tonight, I was hoping Luther would have gotten a little more time, his handles look much improved.

I have to disagree STRONGLY. The reason for this starting lineup is to even out the game. We want to have both defense/offense on our 2nd squad and starters. Why put offense (Scola) instead of Hayes, when we have a guy who is avging about 34ppg and a Center whos avg about 19 a game? What would our "spark" off the bench look like, bringing in Rafer and Hayes. Yeah, the other team better be scared of all of our offensive power then! Whew!

Can't deny that those two are not starters on a championship squad. That is a problem.

Need to incorporate Scola into offense. He has toughness that Rockets really miss. Plus, he really has talents.

I'm not an Alston hater, just speaking the objective truth. Oh, and looking at the box tonight, he had ONE assist.

Damn. I'd hate to see this place if we were losing.

Cheer up, we'll get a win tomorrow.
