When I started watching NBA regularly he was my favourite player and I was following Orlando. I loved his defensive domination. Then, his free agency problems started. It was really bad because he made it that way. I think everyone knows that he is not a bright person (on and off court), he needs to please everyone. I think his effort on the court is good. This year he was not his old self. People say he didn't try hard enough while Kobe was trying very hard. Kobe was horribly uncaring on one end of the court you can see it in this link. Honestly, I believe he will put his 100% on the court because he really needs to be successful in order to avoid mocking all over media.

One thing nobody talked about (or I didn't see) is the technicals. Generally, he was getting those technicals because of the hard fouls on him or he had just a bad reputation. Offensive bigmen is dying because of rules and officials. I am sure after one year many people will think NBA officials hates Rockets because of no calls against Howard. In Orlando, he literally was getting beaten on the court. Some people can argue that 20 years ago league was like that and Dwight should be a man and suck it up. The problem is, officials sometimes think that if you can take it's not a foul (sometimes those fouls should be flagrants). Maybe I was being a homer at that time and didn't know the game well, but I believe this is the case.

I thought he was a drama queen with a limited, albeit VERY useful, skillset.

    Still think that, pretty much.

Lets give Dwight some slack, he has always been in a team where is one of the youngest member... he acts like a baby because he was always treated like one...

he is now coming into the rockets as the oldest most veteran of the bunch... I think the experience will change him...

Injured, but potential to be dominant still there at the age of 27. Those were my thoughts.
