Kyle wanted a deal done as quickly as possible, as did Toronto obviously. Rockets did have interest in Kyle, but were more interested in 'Melo and Bosh. Kyle didn't want to wait to see how those situations played out. To say that Houston had no interest in Lowry what so ever is just dumb.
Not sure if it's wise to get tangled in this one but I usually value your perspective jtr, but I'm having a hard time seeing the legitimacy of your pov. If you're in the market to buy a home and you have list of homes you're interested in you can't put contract offers on all of them. You put the offer in on the one you like most and see what happens. If that deal falls through you move on down the list. No way Morey would put an offer on the table for Melo or Lowry given bosh was at the top of the list and the chances of him wanting to come were higher than melo. All this says is bosh was of higher interest than melo and Lowry but to say the rockets had no interest seem far fetched given the lengths the FO went through to demonstrate interest. It'd be like saying you had no interest in the house you viewed 10 times but put the offer on the one you wanted more.
I can only think of two: Phoenix and Sacramento (when Cousins gets back). But still, a top 12 pick if Davis stays healthy and potentially better if he misses significant time.
