LOL, saying that in losing Lee, the Warriors "LOST a 20-10" guy is like saying the Rockets lost a 19-7 guy when Jason Terry was out.

David Lee will never be a 20-10 guy again (technically, he hasn't been one since 2010 though he came close 2 years ago) not just due to injury but mostly because the Warriors found a much better player to take his spot. And it's not just that "you can argue" that Green is better for the team, it's universally recognized in post-season award voting. The guy got all NBA votes, was 2nd in DPOY, was on all defense (as was Bogut who took up the rest of Lee's minutes).

This is like telling a war vet with bilateral amputations that you also are disabled because you have turf toe. Losing and having Lee back is orders of magnitude less important than the other injuries suffered by contenders.

 

Sobering reality, though- I can guarantee 100% that Steve Kerr would give back all his championship rings and the position he is in right now if it would bring his dad back.

Amen Brother. It's always nice to see people standing up and professing their faith in Jesus Christ.

 

First legit opponent and they crumble, never thought that 73-9 record meant much and now even less. Get physical and refs allow you to be, that already takes away a lot of their power. Kerr did a good job so far, but he's not some genius master mind. COY was not deserving though I get it with their record.

 

Maybe its time he started praying to another god.
